Stephen finally reveals how much money he sent Monica after chaotic Love Is Blind split

If there was a shortlist of the most iconic moments from Love Is Blind, there’s no doubt in my mind that the moment Monica asked Stephen to Venmo her the money he owed would absolutely be on there. The instant transfer and the ping from the notification?! What a move.

At the time I was intrigued as to how much money Stephen actually owed Monica following Love Is Blind. Are we talking $15 from coffee and parking or considerably more? Well, thanks to Stephen’s frequent Q&As on Instagram we now have a more accurate idea of how much he sent, and it’s considerably more than I was expecting!

Following the most recent batch of episodes, Stephen created a poll on his Instagram where he asked his followers: “How much do you think I owed her? How much did I send poll?” He then shared the answers to his story and revealed how close they were to the actual amount.

One follower guessed $500 which was “closer than most” and he then added in a separate slide the amount was more than $200 but less than $600.

He also doubled down on the fact that he “always” intended to pay Monica what he owed her, stating: “I always pay what I owe. Even if it’s the last amount in my bank account while already I’m unemployed.” Someone give this man an award, he clearly deserves it…
