A dark TikTok D4vd reposted has resurfaced and the creator who made it has spoken out

Singer D4vd – real name David Anthony Burke – has currently cancelled tour dates after last week the body of 15 year old Celeste Rivas was found in his Tesla in Los Angeles. A spokesperson for D4vd confirmed when the body was found that the singer was fully cooperating with authorities, and whilst the tour did continue once the body was identified as Celeste on Wednesday – the performance that day was cancelled. Since then, a house where D4vd has been staying has been searched – and his record label has allegedly halted all promotion of his music. After Celeste was found, a TikTok reposted by D4vd in 2024 has resurfaced – still showing he reposted it – and the creator of the video has spoken out following some backlash towards the content of it.

Some context to what’s happened

The Los Angeles Police Department came across the body on September 8 when people phoned in complaining of a “foul odour” from a vehicle in a tow yard. The car had reportedly been in the tow yard for a few days, with the body stashed in the front boot inside a bag. D4vd’s representative told NBC that he “has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.” Authorities confirmed the body had been dismembered and was decomposing. Crocs and Hollister soon removed advertising campaigns featuring D4vd “with respect” for the ongoing investigation.

Authorities have confirmed to ABC News a search warrant was executed in a house in the Hollywood Hills that D4vd does not own but had been staying in. No arrests or suspects have been named yet, as the sources confirmed it has become difficult to identify the cause of death.

TMZ is claiming law enforcement sources told the publication that they did a 12 hour search of the home, and used luminol to search for traces of blood. The publication says a computer was seized alongside hair samples.

The search comes after it was reported that D4vd and Celeste Rivas allegedly have the exact same tattoo of “shhh…” on their right index finger. There was also a leaked D4vd song recorded in 2024 that leaked on Wednesday which names someone called Celeste in the lyrics.

After the investigation began, people spotted that on D4vd’s TikTok he had reposted a TikTok  where the creator was chopping up meat and the text in the video says “Me if I see her talk with other dudes.”

This video still remains on TikTok and it still shows that D4vd has reposted it.

After there was renewed interest in the post during the current investigation, Brayan – the creator who posted the TikTok – spoke out about it.

The original poster of the video stated “Disclaimer: At that point in time [Video was posted in July 2024] there was a cucumber version, I poked at the joke and made one for us males. I do not promote any violence of any kind! Nor do I support any harmful acts so if you feel any type of way feel free to leave my page.”

He also said he’d never heard of D4vd until the current investigation.
