Stephen calls out ‘cyber bullies’ who are hating on him after cheating on Love Is Blind

He’s got a whole Instagram highlight dedicated to them!

Stephen from Love Is Blind left the show last week after he was caught cheating by his fiancée, Monica. In last week’s episode, he was caught apparently sending text messages that involved “dirty kinks” over a two day period. Monica saw the text conversation in his phone, and their engagement was over.

After everybody watched the scandal, his Instagram was understandably flooded with viewers sharing their opinion about what went down. People WEREN’T happy with him. At the beginning, it looked like Stephen was going to take the heat gracefully, and shared a few photos of him and Monica looking happy together. However, as time went on, it seems he found himself down the dangerous rabbit hole of replying to every single comment he received online. Googling yourself is dangerous, but this man is literally in the trenches of the internet.

The night that the episode aired, Stephen issued a warning to viewers of the show, as if he was expecting some backlash for his behaviour. The caption of the post read: “You know for a show based on context clues and meant to be about not judging a book by its cover. Its fans certainly like to take a LOT things at face value. These are all beautiful memories of mine that I would never trade for the world. Both on and off camera. Memories I will forever share with amazing people in an experience I never expected to be a part of.”

The comments set everything off

In the comments on this post, there’s a LOT of hate. And Stephen started replying to basically every single one reaching to defend himself, which is a recipe for pure disaster.

After the influx of angry viewers, Stephen started posting a few memes that left a bit of a sour taste. This video reads: “Training to battle all the stay at home wives that hate me for ruining their fantasy of who they THINK I am.” What??

Stephen seemed to be in his “villain arc” after Love Is Blind viewers had their say, and leant into the hate.

Finally, the “cyber bullies” Instagram highlight appeared. Stephen began to screenshot basically every message he received and publicly roast them. The captions are quite excessive, like this one: “BAPTISE ME IN YOUR HATE!!! WASH ME IN YOUR JUDGEMENT!!!! Cleanse me in the sanctities of your opinions which you deem correct!!!”

Damn, somebody needs a spa day and a limit on their screen time.
