Revealed: The secret real reason MAFS Australia brides turned on Alissa and it’s deep
She said she had no idea where the comments came from
It’s been a rough week on MAFS Australia. The fallout from dinner party two still rages on. At the dinner party, some of the MAFS Australia 2026 brides seemed to suddenly turn on Alissa Fay.
Brook labelled her a “ratchet idiot”, and Gia was giggling, and joined the attack, calling the girls “losers” and “fake”. Prior to this, during the red flag, green flag challenge, Brook and Gia called Alissa’s relationship with David fake, and said they were trying to look perfect.
At the commitment ceremony that followed, Alissa called out the nasty comments. She said she had no idea where the comments had come from, or why some of the other brides seemed to have suddenly turned on her and David.
However since the experiment has aired, she has done an interview and said misinformation the brides had heard about her was the motive for the attack. Apparently, the girls believed Alissa was still in love with her ex.

“They were accusing me of all these things, and fed information by one of the other girls, that I’m still in love with my ex-partner,” she told Now To Love.
“They were trying to find out anything they could about my life on the outside to try and bring my [new] relationship down. If I wanted to still be in previous partnerships, I would have done that, but I came into MAFS for all the right reasons. I deserve to find love just as much as everyone else at that table.”
But, the comments didn’t work. Instead, Alissa believes they made her connection with David stronger. “It made us stronger,” she added. “We just wanted to focus on our relationship because that was the only thing that matters at the end of the day.”
Alissa used to have a pretty famous ex. Up until very recently, she was with an influencer called Will Giles, and they were together for six years.
In a further statement, Alissa told Chattr: “Obviously, if I wanted to be with my ex, I would not have been on the experiment. I would have been with my ex. We had broken up, like eight months prior to the experiment, and at that time, it would have been closer to a year.”
