Holly’s had a huge transformation over the years – what her life was like before MAFS UK 2024
The glow up is real
Hayley SoenMAFS UK 2024 bride Holly Ditchfield is quickly becoming a stand out character on the show, and from the first episode she was very open about her life before the experiment, and how this has shaped who she is now.
29-year-old Holly is a trained beautician, and during MAFS showed how she runs her own lash salon from the bedroom of her house in Huddersfield. She runs her own business called Lash Lounge, and by the looks of her social media, she does have better facilities now over just a bed!
During MAFS UK 2024, Holly spoke about being a single mum ahead of the show, and how she hoped new match Alex Henry would be accepting of her life.
Holly became pregnant with her son Dec when she was just 16, and she didn’t even know she was pregnant until 37 weeks in. Holly also has a daughter, Daisy, who turned nine this year. Posting on TikTok, she shared the huge glow up she has had since having her kids.
“HIM: You’re never going to meet anyone looking like that,” she said in a TikTok with a picture of her holding a baby, clearly referencing something someone in a previous relationship once said to her. She then shared loads of glammed up pictures of herself now, where she looks completely different.
Holly has changed her hair, dyed it darker, and has a completely different makeup vibe for her look now. It looks as though she may have had some lip filler before, but Holly hasn’t herself confirmed that. She does work in the aesthetics industry, though! Holly has since shared loads of adorable TikToks of her hanging out with her kids.
Ahead of the show, Holly said that she has never struggled to find people to date, but they are never husband material. She said she wants to find her Prince Charming, a partner who is “cheeky, masculine and charming, and who is willing to make her a cup of tea and love her for who she really is.”
MAFS UK 2024 isn’t the first time Holly has been introduced to the Married at First Sight world, as before she was on the show herself she became friends with 2023 bride, Tasha Jay. The two have posted lots of pictures on Instagram together, showing they must be pretty close.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see to find out if her life after the show includes Alex!
