Matt Rife plastic surgery

Plastic surgeon estimates Matt Rife has had whopping $10,000 of work done to his face

According to Matt the only thing he’s had done is going through puberty

Matt Rife’s newest comedy special, Lucid, is out on Netflix and once again people are speculating about whether or not he’s had plastic surgery. In comparison to when he was younger, Matt had had a massive transformation but is that as a result of puberty or something a little more plastic?

Matt Rife has previously stated that he’s never had any plastic surgery, putting his changing looks down to the powers of puberty. He previously joked that up until he was 22 he was “ugly.” He admitted: “My looks are so confusing. This sh*t just happened. Puberty hit me so disrespectfully late. I was ugly as sh*t for the first 22 years of my life.”

He has however been open about getting work done on his teeth, admitting on Tana Mongeau’s podcast: “The only thing I’ve had done is my teeth – I got veneers, obviously, because my teeth were f*cked when I was a kid.”

However, a plastic surgery injectables expert told The Sun that she thinks his transformation was down to him spending thousands of dollars “shifting his face.” Tara Asashev from Neinstein Plastic Surgery revealed: “Matt looks like he has had some pretty drastic changes made to his face. He has a lot of volume in his jawline and could have had cheek implants added and/or buccal fat removal. It all looks like he has done something surgically, so not necessarily fillers.”

She continued: “He likely spent around $10,000 on these facial elements as a one-off. Everyone could go through puberty differently. But Matt’s facial changes are pretty drastic, not just from late puberty. But I also note a change in his lip shape and size. Matt’s lips are much more hydrated and luminous. It could be that he went through puberty and, after that, took some buccal fat out, and his face ended up stretching out his lips.

“Matt’s skin also has not changed, but his face and cheeks look stretched. The procedure may have pulled the tissue in different directions in his lips. Matt’s mouth looks larger without actually putting filler in. This has all been done in the last two years. The procedures have been done sometime between 2021 and 2024.”
