Can you actually pass this 2023 British Citizenship Test? You need 75 per cent to live here
Sorry but in what world is the ‘Act of Habeas Corpus’ common knowledge??
So, there’s been a lot of talk recently about immigration to the UK after Home Secretary James Cleverly announced a plan to cut immigration levels to the UK. This has led to a lot of flack as it means around 300,000 people who came to the UK last year would not be able to come under the new laws. This is also hugely going to affect international students as, from the 1st of January 2024, changes to the UK Student visa rules mean that international students will no longer be able to bring their dependant partner or children to the UK, unless they are enrolled in a PhD or postgrad qualification.
But one of the hurdles people trying to get UK citizenship have to face is the notoriously difficult Life in the UK British Citizenship Test. If you can’t get 75 per cent of the answers right, your citizenship application won’t get approved and you won’t be granted British citizenship. It’s got 24 questions randomly selected from around 3,000 facts about the UK and they range from the Tudors, to Halloween and dog walking. But genuinely they’re very tough and the average British citizen would probably not know the answers to them all.
So take the British Citizenship Test about ‘Life in the UK’ here and see if you could pass:
