An Islander gets so upset by twist in tonight’s episode they’ve ‘refused to film’

‘It’s more emotional than anything else we’ve seen this series’

Tonight’s Love Island episode includes a huge twist in which the couples are asked to vote for the least compatible couples, and according to reports, this has left one Islander so upset they’ve refused to film.

Tonight, Maya Jama stuns the Islanders, as she gatecrashes what was meant to be a romantic villa brunch date, in a Love Island first.

The Islanders had been enjoying a delicious breakfast in their couples in the garden, with conversations including whether Whitney would ever move to France, how closed off Tyrique really is and whether there is a connection there with Catherine and Scott.

But, in a brand new twist, Maya unexpectedly arrives to break up the fun. She announces: “In your couples you now have a very big decision to make. I want you to decide which two couples are the least compatible and tonight I’ll be back to find out who you all have chosen. This won’t be easy, so I’ll leave you to it and I will see you later…”

The Sun is reporting this has left one of the girls so upset, they’ve refused to film the scenes. A source told The Sun: “The four Islanders chosen as the least compatible were left fuming. One Islander was so angry she broke down in tears and said she didn’t want to film any more scenes.

“It was so brutal but so dramatic – fans won’t want to miss this show as it’s more emotional than anything else we’ve seen this series.”

Unconfirmed reports state the Islanders voted in least compatible couples will not be able to recouple together, and will be forced to find a more compatible match. However, ITV has not commented on whether this is part of the twist or not.
