Ranked: The MAFS Australia 2023 cast members who have the most Instagram followers so far

Married at First Sight Australia producers have a different take when it comes to the social media of the cast members on their show.

The brides and grooms are unable to post on their Instagram accounts while episodes of the show are airing to prevent viewers being spoiled. Producers are in charge of the cast’s Instagram accounts, posting on their behalf with commentary of each episode.

As such, viewers are able to somewhat engage with the cast through following them on their social media accounts. So, who has the most followers out of the bunch?

Here is a ranking of the cast of Married at First Sight 2023 who currently have the most followers on Instagram following their appearance on the show.

Hugo – 9.6k

Hugo is the least followed MAFS Australia cast member on Instagram with just over 9,600 followers. Hugo was late to joining the show and wasn’t on the show all the long given his relationship with Tayla broke down fairly quickly.

Shannon – 14.3k

Shannon is the second least followed MAFS Australia cast member on Instagram with just over 14,000 followers.

Melissa – 25.2k

MAFS Australia bride Melissa Sheppard is the third least followed MAFS Australia cast member on Instagram, with just over 25,000 followers on Instagram. According to data from Absolute Digital Media, Melissa gets a daily average of 413 followers and 422 average likes on her Instagram posts.

Adam – 26.4k

Married at First Sight Australia groom Adam Seed currently has 26,400 followers on Instagram. It’s likely the marital experiment has given him a boost in followers following his various reality TV stints.

Dan – 34.5k

Dan currently has 34,500 followers on Instagram, tens of thousands less than his on screen wife Sandy currently has.

Rupert – 37.4k

Intruder groom Rupert currently has just over 37,000 followers on Instagram.

Harrison – 45.2k

One of the most talked about Married at First Sight Australia 2023 grooms in Harrison and he currently has 45,200 followers on Instagram.

Cameron – 46.1k

Cameron currently has just over 46,000 followers on Instagram, tens of thousands away from his onscreen wife, Lyndall.

Duncan – 115k

Jesse is one cast member a lot of people sympathised with after his TV wife, Claire, shared a kiss with another groom. Jesse currently has 134,000 followers on Instagram.

Claire – 175k

Claire is the third most followed MAFS Australia cast member with 175,000 followers on Instagram. With 361 posts, Claire averages on just over 9,700 likes on her posts. Evelyn – 203k

Evelyn was already an established influencer before Married at First Sight, a career she has been working on for years since appearing on Big Brother UK in 2016.

Melinda was the highest followed cast member on MAFS Australia 2023 when the show began, likely due to her popular beauty businesses. According to data from Absolute Digital Media, Melinda has an average increase of 4,774 followers each day and acquires an average 15,754 likes on Instagram
