Private chefs and wild apres sessions: Inside Jamie Laing’s chaotic ski resort stag do
Of COURSE he’s in Val d’Isère
There’s only a matter of weeks left until Jamie Laing ties the knot to Sophie Habboo this May. And, after Sophie had her raunchy hen do in Chelsea back in February, Jamie has taken his pre-wedding party one step further and jetted off to the French Alps for a huge ski resort stag do with all his mates, complete with boujee private chef-serviced dinners and seriously wild apres sessions.
So, in case you’re wondering what happens when you put Jamie Laing, a tonne of booze and hundreds of inches of snow together in one of the most hectic party pistes in the world, here’s everything we know about the Candy Kitten CEO’s last hurrah:
He’s in Val D’Isère in a seriously spenny chalet
Obv, like all good posh boys, Jamie is having his skiing stag in Val D’Isère (also sometimes known as Magaluf on snow). He’s got at least 12 mates, including MIC’s Alex Mytton, with him and they started off night one in their massive chalet having a champagne-fulled dinner party, which they definitely didn’t have the stress of cooking because there’s a private chef, who makes everything from canapes to cocktails, on hand at all times.
He’s ready to let loose in La Folie Douce

Predictably, Jamie was never going to go to Val D for his stag and not wreak havoc inside the most notorious apres establishment loved by uni ski trips and seasonaires across Europe: La Folie Douce. Posting a meme to his story of fans swarming Messi at a dinner in Buenos Aires, Jamie (humbly) predicted some fans might find him at Folie. Writing: “Me in the Folie Dous tomorrow”.
He’s got personalised stag do caps that match Sophie’s hen do merch
Jamie gave everyone that arrived on the long weekend away in the Alps personalised caps that had “Jamie’s Ski School” printed across them from Gigi and Olive, the same brand Sophie had her personalised hen do veil made by back in February. Cute.
His mates are making him ski in a Candy Kittens costume
Jamie might be celebrating with his mates but, evidently, the hustle never stops as he’s repping his sweet business on the slopes by wearing a huge Candy Kittens bag costume. He’s posted stories going down the mountain and trying to get into apres wearing the massive sweet bag. So, if you’re on holiday and see a massive pack of Candy Kittens careering towards you, your Aperol hasn’t been spiked, it’s just Jamie Laing.
