Debunking the Flowers drama between Miley and a Hollywood actress over Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus dropped Flowers,  a breakup track and music video, on her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth’s birthday. Entertainingly shady, yes, but now everyone is absolutely obsessed with the claim Liam Hemsworth cheated on Miley with 14 separate women in the house where the video was filmed. One of those women is a big Hollywood actress and now the Miley fans just won’t let it go and are ignoring the fact a random Twitter account called Pop Tingz started all of it.

It feels obvious saying this but Flowers is a music video and shouldn’t be taken as fact but here’s a debunking of the easter eggs regardless.

That gold dress

In the video, Miley Cyrus wears a vintage gold dress from YSL’s fall 1991 collection which features a draped hood, criss-cross waistline and prominent cut-out.

Fans of Miley Cyrus have speculated this is a nod to the gold dress the rumoured actress wore to a Hunger Games premiere, addressing the alleged cheating rumours between her and Liam Hemsworth after she confirmed they had an off-camera kiss.

Miley’s hairstyle is adding to the drama

So not only did Miley bring out the iconic gold dress but she also had the same hairstyle as the famous actress when she wore it herself alongside Liam Hemsworth at the Hunger Games premier.

Here’s where the rumours of Liam Hemsworth cheating on Miley Cyrus came from

Okay so this rumour dates back to 2015 – peak Hunger Games era. The famous actress confirmed she kissed Liam Hemsworth off-screen. During an American talk show hosted by Andy Cohen, she admitted to kissing Liam off camera. Andy Cohen said to her: “It has recently been rumoured that you and Liam Hemsworth had some PDA at the Waverly Inn. Have you two ever kissed when the cameras weren’t rolling?” She then replied: “Liam and I grew up together. Liam’s real hot. What would you have done? Yeah, I have.”

Not a single reliable news source has confirmed or denied these rumours, it’s safe to say Miley fans just love the theatrics in Flowers.
