The truth behind how Maria from Members Only: Palm Beach randomly became a top DJ
It all started back in Covid
Maria from Members Only: Palm Beach became a top DJ in West Palm Beach just three years ago, and it’s thanks to her husband. She wasn’t always a DJ though, because she was a tech entrepreneur once upon a time, where she was already making stacks of money.
Mostly, Maria is out partying all night as DJ Tumbles! She’s made her riches doing not just DJing, but by working with over eight luxury brands for collaborations. She’s also been the opening act for global DJ superstar Paul Oakenfold and the top DJ at Mar-a-Lago.
Her husband, Damon, was a DJ on Philadelphia Radio, so Maria decided to ask him to teach her during Covid. She then went to a DJ school after lots of arguments over him trying to teach her, and realised she was “so much further ahead than the other students.”

Then after three sessions, she dropped out, and about a month into learning how to DJ, she landed her first gig! She said of her husband teaching her: “We’ve always shared a love for music. My husband DJ’d for 30+ years, he’s the one who taught me how to play.”
She added: “But somewhere in my own midlife chaos, I felt this pull — like I wasn’t done chasing stars yet. Like I still had one more run in me. I didn’t want to choose between my marriage and my dreams… so I invited him back into the chase with me. And he said yes.”
“My greatest passion outside of family has always been music. I think it’s because I’m so deeply ignited by sight and sound — through both visual and acoustic mediums. That’s where my creativity comes alive,” Maria added, and it’s seriously paying off!
