Meet the 10 sassy queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World, from Kate Butch to Naomy
I honestly cannot wait
The 10 glamorous queens taking part in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World are officially confirmed. There’s everyone from a German supermodel to a sad-twerking queen, and season three is genuinely going to be the best and most sassy one yet, I reckon.
Representing Drag Race UK:
Kate Butch

Kate Butch is the redhead we’ve all been missing! She placed fifth on the UK show during season five. I’d recognise that Yorkshire accent from anywhere, especially because longtime viewers will not forget the time she won a trophy for choosing Shrek as her specialist topic.
Sminty Drop

I could never forget Sminty Drop’s Antiques Roadshow take on RuPaul’s Drag Race. She’s always praised for her creative avant-garde runway looks, not to mention her sad twerk she done before being booted off the competition on series four, in ninth place.
Zahirah Zapanta

Zahirah Zapanta placed 10th on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season six. She’s based in Nottingham and is originally from the Philippines, so it’s no surprise she’s got a whole long list of talents, including being a seamstress and magician when it comes to doing make-up.
The rest of the world:
Mariah Balenciaga

Mariah Balenciaga is as bougie as her name sounds. She’s from the USA franchise, and actually is quite the OG. In 2011, when Drag Race was still in its early days, Mariah was chosen by Ru to compete in season three, and actually tried again in All Stars season five.
Gawdland

Gawdland! We missed ya. They’re from Thailand and reached the final on the country’s season three show, during which they won The Rusical and The Makeover challenge. There was a brief stumble on the Snatch Game, so I’m hoping they succeed this time.
Fontana

Fontana is as bold as that hair! She’s the runner-up of RuPaul’s Drag Race Sweden and only just missed out on being the season’s winner on season one. This queen left her home country at the young age of 20, quickly establishing herself as one of Sweden’s top drag queens.
Melinda Verga

Melinda Verga came fifth on the Canada franchise’s fourth season. He done extremely well in the infamous Snatch Game, and is 100 percent committed to winning this time around. Melinda has only recently starred on The Traitors Canada, and didn’t hold back.
Serena Morena

Serena Morena finished in eighth place on the Mexico franchise’s first-ever season. She’s mostly excited to be in the UK “for the men,” and prides herself on still living with her mum and staying close to her Mexican roots, urging people not to mess with her.
Minty Fresh

Minty Fresh is quite literally a breath of fresh air. She’s from the Philippines franchise, having finished in fifth place on the show’s first season, and somehow managed to win the talent show and the maxi challenge. This queen only left because of a girl group challenge fail.
The Only Naomy

Naomy is their nickname for short, and they placed 10th place on the Germany series during the Rusical challenge. Their main job is working as a German supermodel and has only been famous for two short years, but hinted they may be the villain of this season.
