Mary admits her drinking got so bad whilst filming she might quit Selling Sunset entirely
'I'm good not being on the show'
Oh dear, it seems like almost everyone from this season of Selling Sunset is seriously considering not coming back for another season, and now Mary has jumped onto the bandwagon too.
During an appearance on the Casual Chaos Podcast, Mary shed a light on the toll the most recent season of the show had taken on her both physically and mentally.
She shared: “I hate drama, so the more drama, the worse I think the season is. For me, it was one of my least favorite just because of personal drama. It was very stressful to go through the whole season. But for the public, I think it was one of the best.”

When Mary was asked whether she plans to return for season 10 of Selling Sunset, she admitted that it depends on how others behave at The Oppenheim Group.
She explained: “It depends on the level of toxicity that they’re allowing.”
However, Mary did clarify that even if she decided to no longer be part of filming she would still work for The Oppenheim Group, something a lot of agents choose to do.

She also talked about the issues between Chrishell and Emma, stating that a lot of her co-stars feel the same way about the direction the show is going in.
“I feel like everyone’s on the same page that this is not working, like it’s too much. That’s for our producers and Netflix. Jason controls who works at the Oppenheim Group, but not on the show.”
And after everything that’s happened it looks like Mary really is seriously considering taking a step back, adding: “After this season, I’m like, ‘I’m good not being on the show.'”
As for how the stress of filming affected her drinking, she explained how bad it had all become, recalling: “I remember thinking, ‘When was the last day I didn’t have one drink?’
“It was too much for my health. I needed to give my mental state a break. My anxiety started getting worse… it was just a choice.”
