All the couples who split up on Love Is Blind but secretly continued to date afterwards

Sometimes seeing a couple split up on Love Is Blind can be devastating, and most of the time we all know it’s for the best.

But a lot of the times couples split up on the show, they secretly end up trying to make their relationship work on the outside, and date in secret.

Unsurprisingly, this has a track record of almost never working out, so let’s see everyone who’s tried to rekindle after splitting up on-screen.

Giannina and Damian

Giannina and Damian ended up calling their wedding off during Love Is Blind, but ended up rekindling just hours later after realising they were deeply in love with each other.

The pair revealed in an interview with People that they met back at the apartment they’d rented for the show, and managed to sneak back in even after they were kicked out.

Damian added: “So we spent the night together and reflected, and we woke up and said, ‘let’s give it a shot and really see how it goes.’

As for how that shot went, the pair dated for just over a year before calling it quits and are no longer together.

Natalie and Shayne

Shayne recently hinted he might be trying to get back with Natalie, which wouldn’t be the first time.

Natalie told People that the pair started dating again a week after their wedding, explaining: “Maybe it’s not dating — we continued our engagement again. We were together for several months.”

As for why they ended up ending their relationship, she added: “I think at the end of it, we realized that we’re very different people with different needs and wants that we can’t fulfill for one another.

“We did take a break in communication after that, just to get into a better place. And as the show came out, we reached back out to one another and just talked about the memories that we had.”

Jeramey and Sarah Ann

Jeramey and Sarah Ann had to be one of the most chaotic pairings on Love Is Blind and whilst they weren’t strictly a couple on the show they did try to make a relationship work afterwards.

The pair confirmed they started dating soon after Jeramey split from Laura, and were together for just over one year before splitting up.

Jimmy and Chelsea

Chelsea revealed more about what happened between her and Jimmy after the show finished on an appearance on The Viall Files. She expained that they tried to make their relationship work after their on-screen split, but it didn’t end up working out.

She revealed: “After filming wrapped, he expressed to me–he tried to take me to a baseball game on our wedding day. And he just said that the cameras were too much. The pressure was too much.

“And I was frustrated because I’m like, ‘You knew going into this situation.’”

Chelsea claimed that Jimmy didn’t tell Chelsea how he felt about the cameras when he told her he wanted to call their engagement off, and during the episode told her: “I love you to death and I want a relationship with you and I want us to work so bad. But I don’t want to go to the altar. I can’t.”

Nick and Annie

Appearing on the Dirty Chats podcast, Nick revealed that he and Annie also tried to work things out after splitting on the show.

He explained: “A lot of people don’t know that after the show was over, Annie and I had also tried to date. That’s a huge one.

“Because we were taking it very intentionally, I was taking it very intentionally and I thought, look it’s just not us bringing out the worst in each other, which we learned after we tried to date. But I thought it was the cameras.”

Joe and Madison

Speaking to Swooon, Madison revealed that she and Joe ended up meeting for dinner about “two or three weeks” after leaving the show, but their conversation still didn’t give her “answers or clarity.”

She continued: “And then he walks me to my car, and we’re saying goodbye, and we hug, and then we share a kiss, and then he starts tearing up. And it was a very confusing time.”

She added: “I think that it was just kind of like a goodbye kiss. I mean, it turned into a little bit of a make-out session, which, you know, is just a mindf**k and confusing in and of itself. But, yeah, I don’t think I thought anything was going anywhere with it.”

Lauren and Dave

During an appearance on the After Curfew podcast, Dave shockingly revealed that he and Lauren secretly “hooked up” straight after splitting on Love Is Blind.

The interviewer asked him: “In the reunion, you said that she was the one who got away. With that, she [Lauren] replied and said ‘If I was the one that got away, why did it take a year to reach out?’

“What is the reason and are there still feelings there, do you feel like there could be some type of potential to reunite?”

Dave responded: “Okay so, it didn’t take a year for me to reach out, like we hooked up after filming wrapped and everything. Like we had a couple of random hangouts.”

Alex and Madison

There was a whole lot of drama between Alex and Madison during the Love Is Blind pods, but it turns out their journey didn’t come to an end once the experiment did.

Alex revealed exactly what went down between him and Madison once they left the Love Is Blind pods during an episode of The Viall Files.

He admitted: “We talked when we got out of the pods. We got back to Minneapolis and we did talk for a brief period of time, I would say, and then the same issues kept coming up and we realised, again, that we were communicating differently and then we decided to go our separate ways.”

Meg and Mason

I can’t believe it, a couple who reconnected after the show who actually seem to be going the distance.

Meg and Mason didn’t make it further than the pods but ended up reconnecting at the reunion screening, and honestly it sounds pretty saucy.

They revealed on the Blind Love With Zack & Bliss podcast, that they “got a little comfortable” watching the reunion, with Mason saying: “When we kissed, I knew it was game over. It’s like, okay, this is it.”

He was in Meg’s hotel room, and they were “just kind of venting to each other” about what had happened earlier. She started giving him a massage because his shoulder was hurting, and things evolved to a kiss from there.

And so far they’re still together and seem to be very happy together!
