Why didn’t Bronwyn split from Todd when she found out he cheated on RHOSLC?
She defended him for so long
Bronwyn Newport didn’t immediately up and leave her estranged husband Todd Bradley, who she has just split from, after finding out he allegedly cheated on her. Her daughter was the one to catch him in the act, yet it’s baffling Bronwyn defended him for such a long time.
She revealed on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City that she feels “Todd means more to me than I do to him.” During their cast trip to Puerto Vallarta, Todd allegedly cheated on her during an emotional conversation about “the real stuff” she had been going through.
“A couple of years ago, we were on a trip, and he was texting someone on his iPad, and Gwen went to say something to him, and Gwen saw it over his shoulder,” Bronwyn claimed, referring to her daughter from a previous relationship.

Although their marriage is now over, Bronwyn stayed with him despite the alleged infidelity. “Gwen came to me, and I confronted Todd,” she continued. “The real truth is that my relationship is just as hard as everybody else’s in its own ways.”
“It’s had its very low lows that were very hard for me. This is a side of me that these ladies haven’t yet seen, but I want them to understand that I bleed the same way that they all do. I cry about things, and that side of me is there if they’re open to it,” she added.

Bronwyn didn’t leave Todd, who said it’s “not his fault”. She claimed: “He came back with a ring that had five diamonds, and he made me five new promises to match each of the diamonds. It was five things he didn’t promise me when we got married that he should have.”
A big part of why she didn’t leave is because although she understands Todd well, she feels like it is a pattern in her life for others not to care as deeply for her. “I don’t always know that somebody knows 100% who I am, and that’s a very weird, isolating feeling,” she said.
“To float through life and feel there’s nobody who totally gets me,” she cried. “When you don’t have a great relationship with your mom, I’m losing my dad, Gwen is going to college, and Lisa was introducing me to friends. It reinforces this narrative that I’m not good enough.”
