Here’s who filed for divorce in each Love Is Blind couple and the savage reasons why

There have been a lot of Love Is Blind couples who have split up over the last few years, but ultimately only one of them can make the divorce filling.

So, let’s find out who bit the bullet and was the one who filed for divorce, and the savage reasons they listed for the breakdown of their marriages.

Brennon filed for divorce from Alexa

According to a divorce petition obtained by Us Weekly, Brennon filed for divorce from Alexa in November, saying that their marriage had “become insupportable” due to “conflict of personalities” that prevent any “reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

However, Alexa then clapped back at his petition and claimed that Brennon is at fault for the Love Is Blind marriage dissolving.

On December 4th Alexa filed court documents denying all the allegations from Brennon’s petition, and asked the court to split up the estate whilst also requesting a larger share of it all, according to Us Weekly.

She believes she is owed more in their divorce as Brennon has “fault in the breakup of the marriage,” alongside Alexa having need for future support, alongside claiming that Brennon wasted community assets by the spouse and attorney fees.

Lydia filed for divorce from Milton

Lydia first announced their split back in June during an appearance on the Reality Receipts podcast with AD Smith, saying the past three years of their marriage had been “tumultuous” and she’d decided to file for divorce against Milton.

She explained: “I’ve been quiet for too long but now I’m ready, but I wasn’t ready for people’s opinions. Now, I’ve decided to file for divorce against Milton. It wasn’t one thing, it was a layer of situations that just kept piling up.”

Milton then responded to her divorce petition, with Us Weekly revealing that he accused her of “cruel treatment” against him.

He responded to her divorce petition on Friday 26th September, and requested for her petition to be dismissed, alongside filing his own counterclaim against her.

Milton claimed that Lydia was “guilty of cruel treatment” toward him of a “nature that renders further living together insupportable” following their wedding on Love Is Blind.

His lawyer added: “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between [Milton] and [Lydia] that destroys the legitimate end of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

Ashley filed for divorce from Tyler

Ashley was the one who filed for divorce against Tyler after Love Is Blind. Following the sperm donor drama everything become too much for Ashley, who admitted that she grew to “resent” Tyler.

She revealed on the What’s The Reality podcast the impact the sperm donor revelation had on her marriage.

Ashley explained: “Ugh. It impacted the marriage immediately, because now I have to question the person I’m laying next to. And I think that’s such a scary feeling to not know what’s true, what’s not true.

“I remember there would be times I’d be up at two in the morning, and he’d have all the answers at the time, but it shifted everything about us.”

She continued: “We got along really well and it was like, I no longer had that person and even from the beginning when I was trying to unpack what was true, it till created such a hole between us.

“I had resentment towards him in out household, it shifted everything. It was a time when I had two panic attacks, one of the worst ones and he just held me while trying to figure out who he actually was.”

Sarover filed for divorce from Kal

Whilst Kal ended the relationship, Sarover was the one who filed for divorce after Love Is Blind UK.

Sarover explained at the time that she asked Kal if she can be the one to legally file for divorce as she’ll be able to have “some sort of control again.”

She told Cosmopolitan: “It only lasted a few months. Marriage takes compromise, marriage takes two people together, two people making decisions, two people [that] go through everything together.

“And if I’m going to be honest, Kal didn’t see me as an equal. I didn’t feel like I had a voice in that relationship, I didn’t feel like I had a say and there was no compromise.”
