Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause just slammed Gwen Stefani promoting an anti-abortion app
She didn't hold back
You might’ve thought the holidays were all about cosy vibes, but things just got messy in the reality TV world.
When Gwen Stefani dropped a festive post plugging a faith-based app this season, Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause didn’t hold back.
Her sharp clap-back has ignited a debate over faith, fandom and what it really means when a star turns spirituality into sponsorship…

Gwen recently teamed up with Hallow, a Christian prayer and meditation app, for its 2025 “Advent Challenge.”
In an Instagram reel, she invited her followers to “spend time in prayer,” embrace stillness, and join daily reflections in the lead-up to Christmas.
But Hallow isn’t just about peaceful vibes. The app is known to include explicitly anti-abortion prayers, and it has backing and funding tied to conservative political figures, per Billboard.
Critics argue that by promoting Hallow, Gwen isn’t just sharing faith, she’s lending her platform to a brand with a decidedly political stance, reports The Cut.
Chrishell bashed the singer online

That’s when Chrishell stepped in. On an Instagram Story dissecting Gwen’s collab, she wrote: “Gwen-DON’T SPEAK. Please take your own advice on this one.”
The comment came off as a clear riff off Gwen’s 1996 hit, and a bold way to say “not cool.”
Chrishell shared overlay text on her repost of Gwen’s reel: “She is taking money to promote an app that encourages anti abortion even in cases of [grapes emoji] and incest. Please stop making young girls guilty to not have a choice. Don’t speak is a play on words. She can say what she wants. And I can oppose it.”
The former Selling Sunset cast member also said: “If your child got pregnant by a pedophile, would you want Gwen Stephanie making her feel guilty to keep it? I wouldn’t.”
“I will always be against stripping women’s rights away. Even if it’s dressed up as my once hero @gwenstefani as a church grifter.
It’s free to pray, and Jesus with a side of hidden agendas is not my idea of holiday cheer. I wish the people against abortion also cared about the children after they are born. Like child victims of incest & [grapes emoji].”
And on a third Story post, Chrishell wrote: “Also the wildness of the comments tagging me in the multiple posts about this today thinking they can humiliate me, make me feel bad or break me… Babes I was on Netflix hardened by nine seasons of internet hate. I’m a different breed at this point… Say what you want. That’s how I feel. Peace and love!”
