Selling The OC’s Gio revealed his newborn son won’t be raised to ‘choose their gender’
He called it propaganda
Gio Helou from Selling The OC posted a controversial statement about how he’ll raise his newborn son. He claimed that there is a lot of “propaganda they won’t be raising their son to fall for,” including being able to choose your gender and that “all religions are equal.”
The post, which was shared back in June, hasn’t been forgotten by Selling The OC viewers. It received a fair amount of backlash, which led to his wife responding to comments, as well as Gio responding to criticism about how religions are not equal, in his opinion.
He wrote in response to someone asking for an explanation, “As Christians our faith is based on the love of Christ and His selfless sacrifice for our salvation. As Christ followers we believe He is the only way to salvation beyond this life on earth ✝️🙏.”

When critiqued on their stance that it’s “propaganda” that “masculinity is toxic,” Gio’s wife Tiffany hit back. She said: “Feminism in today’s culture has taken on a new meaning. Modern feminism has largely been detrimental to women.”
She added that feminism is “suppressing what makes us special, like our ability to create and carry life” and added: “There are countless sources that backup these statistics: the self-reported happiness of women has steadily declined since the 1960s.”
“As someone in her late 30s experiencing fertility issues and multiple miscarriages because I spent my 20s on a career and didn’t start a family until later, I fear for young girls and what society is shaping them to believe is important to pursue to be fulfilled,” Tiffany added.
