Ashtyn met her husband on Luxy, not Seeking Arrangements, so what’s the difference?
It's a highly exclusive app
The topic of where exactly Ashtyn met her very wealthy husband was a hot topic during Selling The OC, but she’s now clarified that the pair didn’t meet on Seeking Arrangements, but another app called Luxy. So, what exactly is the difference between them?
Luxy is a more selective dating app that is designed specifically for wealthy singles, with the app even having its own vetting process, ensuring that only 15 to 25 per cent of applicants get into the app.

You’re also required to verify your income on Luxy, however it stated on its website that it has a “no sugar daddies/sugar babies” rule in place.
In comparison, whilst Seeking Arrangements has now rebranded to step away from its label of being an app to find a sugar daddy, prior to the rebrand it was labelled as an app to connect wealthy singles with “attractive” younger people who might benefit financially.
Ashtyn didn’t directly address that she met her husband on Luxy rather than Seeking Arrangements on Selling The OC, but during an appearance on the Between Us Moms podcast, she delved into it.

Ashtyn was asked how it was for her and her husband Jeff to watch the season back and see “so much conversation about your marriage and how you met?”
Ashtyn responded: “I should have known that they were going to try and pick apart our marriage and try to tear us apart, but we are just so strong together.
“He’s been with me for pretty much half my life now at this point, and. And we knew that going into it that might happen and we would not let anything tear us apart. We know how we met.”

She added: “We know people can think what they want about anything, but at the end of the day I have been with him through all seasons of life at this point and I have chosen to stay through it all.
Selling The OC agent Ashtyn explained that her husband doesn’t even look like the majority of men you’d usually find on Seeking Arrangements, adding: “I didn’t really feel like I needed to prove myself to all those girls on the show, like do you want me to say I met him on some sugar daddy app? Like sure. Do you find sugar daddies that look like him, probably not.”
