Jason Oppenheim brutally admits he ‘doesn’t like’ the type of show Selling Sunset has become
Is this the end of it all?
Jason Oppenheim has weighed in on the future of Selling Sunset, and it seems like he’s really not a fan of the direction the show is going in.
He also touched upon his thoughts on the departure of Chrishell Stause, who quit Selling Sunset but is still working at The Oppenheim Group.

He told Us Weekly: “She’s a grown woman. She can make her own decisions and what’s best for her. I think everyone on the cast should be making their own decisions.
“Right now she is still working for the Oppenheim Group. That’s another decision that she’ll make.”
He continued: “It certainly wouldn’t come from me [if she left]. I leave it to everyone to figure out. And of course, there’s also Netflix and production, who have a say too. So I try my best to not make decisions, if that makes sense.”
As for how Jason Oppenheim feels about the increased on-screen drama between the cast this season of Selling Sunset, he brutally admitted: “I don’t like it. I want to get it back to real estate. We can create a really, really amazing show without anything below the belt. Some of our best seasons were without [that].”

He added: “I think there should be a fun show — like an escape show — for people to watch. Not a show that turns people off or divides people.
“That’s ridiculous. That’s honestly one of the most attractive things about Selling Sunset is that it can be such a fun show to just cuddle up with your partner and just enjoy.
“We don’t want to have people arguing after they watch an episode.”
I won’t lie, after watching the new season of Selling The OC, I definitely think a focus on property content on the next season of Selling Sunset would be no bad thing at all!
