This is the biggest commission an agent has ever made on Selling The OC
This is more than I could make in a lifetime
Selling a seriously expensive property on Selling The OC not only boosts The Oppenheim Group, but can also land an agent a very hefty commission.
But not all commisions are created equally, so what’s been the biggest commission ever made on a property during Selling The OC? Let’s find out!
The most expensive listing that’s ever actually been sold happened in season three, with Kayla representing a $28 million waterfront mansion.

Kayla admitted: “Jason probably won’t like this. But it’s also the biggest listing in the Newport Beach office.”
Whilst the property didn’t manage to get sold whilst the season was being filmed, it closed about a month or two after filming finished, with Kayla sharing the video of her ringing the bell on her Instagram.
She explained: “It was listed for just under $28 million, but we sold it for $24.5 million, no contingencies. It closed in like 10 days—all cash. It was a quick, smooth sale, and I’m just very excited.”

Whilst Kayla didn’t disclose exactly how much commission she made, according to estimates for how much percentage the agents get, she could have earned between $750k all the way up to $1.5 million.
I’m honestly speechless right now.

Aa for what Kayla did with the whopping commission she earned on Selling The OC, she revealed: “Honestly, I was able to catch up on my taxes, and I did do a little bit of traveling.
“But I put most of it back into my business because I also have my life coaching business that I run. It was nice because it gave me room; and then I also invested in a podcast studio, and I brought back my podcast. So that’s been extremely helpful.”
