Erm, so it turns out Bret, who is married to Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi, actually used to be married to Angie Harrington from RHOSLC?!
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives villain Demi and Bret got married in 2021, but he was previously married to RHOSLC star Angie for seven years.
She filed for divorce from him in 2010, citing citing irreconcilable differences, with the two sharing two sons ages 25 and 18.
The pair were awarded joint custody by a judge, but it was clarified that Angie’s home would be their “home base”, according to The US Sun.
The court gave Angie 209 overnights with their children whilst Bret was only given 156.
And it seems like Angie wasn’t in the best financial position when the pair split, as according to court paper she had no monthly income.
The papers stated: “The father’s gross monthly income is $7,011. The mother’s gross monthly income is $0.”
The papers stated that Bret should pay Angie $1,413 per month for child support, however he was “willing to pay in excess” of that amount.
Ultimately Bret agreed to pay $1,800 per month in child support to his former wife “with payments commencing April 1 of 2010 and continuing until [each son] becomes 18 years of age, or until the child’s normal and expected date of graduation from high school, whichever occurs later.”
Bret also agreed to pay Angie $1,000 per month in alimony as she had been a stay at home mother, with the papers stating that she “earns up to $3000 a year” compared to Brett, who was making “$7,011 per month.”
The papers stated: “The wife should is awarded a sum of $1,000 a month as alimony from the husband, commencing April 1 2010 and continuing for four years until the death of either party, the wife’s remarriage or cohabitation with another person, whichever comes first.”
