Former RHOC star Elizabeth Lyn Vargas appeared on Selling The OC with a hefty net worth, in part thanks to her divorce from millionaire Bernt Bodal.
According to estimates, Elizabeth has a net worth of around $30 million, but she’s likely worth even more following her divorce from millionaire Bernt Bodal, the former CEO of American Seafoods in 2017.
The pair got married in 2000 but ended up getting divorced in 2020 after Elizabeth revealed on RHOC that Bernt was having an affair and had had a child with another woman.
According to The Sun, Elizabeth was making just $1,721 per month when they split whilst Bernt was making an insane $86,955, with Bernt having a net worth of around $200 million.
She receives an estimated $31,000 per month in spousal support following their divorce, including $11,368.09 mortgage payment for her $5 million Newport Beach property, and two monthly payments for her Range Rover and Bentley.
Bernt is also required to disclose any bonus income he received and give Elizabeth 37.7 per cent of that amount. Safe to say, she’s absolutely minted.
