All the juicy details we know so far about Brittany Snow’s engagement to Hunter Moreno
Absolutely buzzing for this love story
Brittany Snow is officially in her soft-launch engagement era.
The Pitch Perfect and Hunting Wives star has quietly got engaged to photographer and creative director Hunter Moreno, and the whole thing is very low-key.
All this comes a few years after her very public split from Selling The OC’s Tyler Stanaland, and yes, the timing compared to his new engagement is chef’s kiss reality-adjacent symmetry.
Here’s everything that’s slipped out so far about Brittany and Hunter’s engagement so far…

Brittany’s love life has been under a microscope ever since Tyler joined Selling The OC and their marriage became part of the Bravo-Netflix universe.
The pair announced their separation in September 2022 after two years of marriage, saying the decision was made “with love and mutual respect,” and listing their official separation date as the same day in court documents. Their divorce was finalized in July 2023, with both keeping their own assets and a prenup in place, per People.
Since then, Brittany’s been candid about how surreal it felt to suddenly be part of a reality TV storyline.
She told SELF Magazine in November 2025 that she “did not sign up” for that level of scrutiny and had to essentially rebuild her life and sense of self once the marriage publicly unravelled around Selling The OC drama.
Cut to late 2024, and Brittany is spotted kissing cinematographer and creative director Hunter Moreno in New York City. He was later identified as her new romantic interest!
According to ELLE, the two keep things extremely low-profile, no red-carpet debuts, just quiet Instagram likes, the occasional tag when he shoots portraits of her, and the odd subtle interaction that has everyone playing detective.
Now, roughly three years after signing off on her divorce from Tyler, Brittany has said yes again. Reports say the engagement came about a year into her relationship with Hunter, which lines up with them first being linked in October 2024, per Page Six.

So how did the world even find out if they’re so private? Chaos courtesy of DeuxMoi, obviously.
Earlier this month, a clip surfaced of Brittany chatting to her The Hunting Wives co-star Claire Danes, where Claire casually referenced her “engagement” and Brittany didn’t deny it for a second.
That moment was picked up and shared, and gossip accounts immediately started asking ‘Wait, did Brittany Snow just soft-launch her engagement?!’.
Shortly after, on November 16 2025, Us Weekly exclusively reported that Hunter popped the question “about a month ago” and the whole thing was intentionally “low-key and private.” The insider says Brittany and Hunter are both “private and low-key” by nature and only started telling their close circle recently.
We haven’t seen a ring close-up or a grid-post caption yet, but insiders are painting a very wholesome picture. Hunter is described as a “mental health advocate” and “salt-of-the-earth kind of guy,” which tracks with his work as co-founder and creative director of the mental-health-focused project Make Sure Your Friends Are OK, and with Brittany’s own long-standing involvement in mental health advocacy.
In other words, while Tyler’s previous entanglements are playing out smack in the middle of Selling The OC storylines, Brittany’s doing things her own way, quiet proposal, soft-launch confirmation, and a romance that mostly lives off camera.

If you’re wondering who the mystery man behind Brittany’s soft-launch engagement actually is, here’s the rundown.
Hunter Moreno is a Los Angeles-based creative director, cinematographer and photographer who’s built a career working with major brands, artists and digital creators. He’s got that quietly cool, creative energy, and his work spans everything from portrait shoots to polished campaign visuals.
He also co-founded Make Sure Your Friends Are OK, a mental-health-focused nonprofit geared toward supporting young people and creators.
Brittany and Hunter were first linked in late 2024, and insiders say they kept the relationship intentionally under the radar from day one. Now, a year or so later, they’re planning a future together, and doing it entirely on their own terms!
