Selling The OC star Alex Hall sparked backlash after comparing Charlie Kirk to Martin Luther
'What an honour to have walked this earth at the same time as you'
Selling The OC cast member Alex Hall previously sparkled backlash after comparing the late Charlie Kirk to Martin Luther King following his death.
Alex made the post in September following the death of Charlie Kirk, saying that she was “undeniably emotional” about what happened to him.
Charlie was fatally injured after being shot whilst speaking on a Utah university campus on September 10.

However, Selling The OC star Alex Hall did stir up some controversy with her response to his passing, as she wrote about him being the “MLK of our generation.”
She wrote: “I cannot explain how undeniably emotional I am about this. I have never been so moved by anyone’s death whom I have never met. What a courageous man.
“What an honour to have walked this earth at the same time as someone so inspirational as you. I admire you. I admire your strength. I admire the legacy you have left behind.”

She continued: “I’m just going to say it. I feel like this man is the MLK of our generation …and that’s something that saddens me.
“History repeating its self is something that is 100% preventable, and I blame us.
“US as humans, US as individuals who allow ourselves to be influenced by society and whatever it may be that drives people to this depth of evil and feeling as though it is right.”
She added: “There is an undoubtedly amount of us who lack to have faith and surrender to fear. Let this be your very tragic reminder that Violence is NEVER THE ANSWER.”
