Everything the Selling Sunset cast said about the insane beef between Mary and Chelsea
This is literally wild
If you thought the open houses, million-dollar listings and designer gowns on Selling Sunset were drama enough, wait until you catch what went down between Mary and Chelsea after this season ended.
What began as a tiny comment about a blazer-and-shorts outfit turns into full-blown mistrust, tear-filled dinners and some castmates picking sides.
But before we recap every twist, let’s dive in and see exactly how the two major players and their allies responded.

When the fallout between Mary and Chelsea spilled online, Amanza made it clear she wasn’t abandoning her longtime best friend.
Responding to backlash on social media, Amanza commented that people don’t know “the full story” and that “Mary had a much bigger reason to be upset that you won’t see unfortunately.”
In another since-shared screenshot, Amanza added that she’s “been her best friend for 24 years pretty much” and urged critics to stop attacking Mary, saying she’s “pretty sure she’s not getting Black women killed, so please stop!”
It’s a fiery defence that suggests there’s more to the situation than what Netflix cameras showed. Folks have speculated Amanza might be referring to off-camera tension about microaggressions or production-related incidents, but she hasn’t elaborated further. What’s clear is that Amanza is loyal to Mary, and she’s not staying quiet while social media drags her.
Chrishell chimes in for Chelsea

Meanwhile, Chrishell Stause has made it known she’s firmly on Chelsea’s side. In a now-viral Instagram exchange, Chrishell wrote that the season’s planned finale, where she and Mary were supposed to talk through their issues, was cancelled because “Mary felt in danger.”
She continued: “We were meant to have this conversation at the finale, where I talked about this to Mar,y but it was cancelled bc she felt in danger…” In another comment, Chrishell added: “The finale with all of us present was cancelled bc she didn’t feel safe being in the room with Chelsea… let me shut up before I get in trouble.”
Chrishell didn’t stop there, she also hit back at critics, saying she only upset “the people I never care to p*** off, which are either racists or people who have never spent a day trying to understand their privilege or what a micro-aggression is and how harmful it can be.”
By doubling down on the importance of discussing race and privilege in 2025, Chrishell is implying that Mary’s “unsafe” claims may have been racially charged or unfair toward Chelsea.
Chelsea herself has publicly denied staging anything for the cameras, saying: “What do you think I need camera time for? I don’t need f***ing camera time…” during the episode eight argument with Mary.
