Here’s the tragic reason Kendall Jenner didn’t walk the Victoria’s Secret runway this year

There were some very famous and familiar faces during this years Victoria’s Secret fashion show, however Kendall Jenner was nowhere to be seen.

Kendall made her first debut on the runway for the brand in 2015, however she also missed last year’s revival show for unknown reasons.

Whilst Kendall Jenner hasn’t explicitly stated why she chose not to walk the Victoria’s Secret runway this year, there’s some evidence to suggest why she gave it a miss.

She’s previously addressed how nervous she feels before walking the runway, telling Elle: “I used to get really nervous during fashion shows. I feel like when you’re walking on the runway, I say this from experience, you’re just thinking, ‘Walk straight! Walk straight!’, and you try to just focus on that.

“Especially me, because I used to get really nervous when I knew people in the audience. I would try and force myself to zone out.

“But now, I’m cool with it, I’ve actually gotten so much better at it that I like knowing who’s there, and I’ll kind of peek over to see who’s in the audience before I come out. But it took a little while to get to that point.”

However, the biggest indication about why she decided to miss the Victoria’s Secret show is because she previously revealed her plans to stop modelling altogether.

Kendall previously told Vogue: “I swear to God, I’m going to stop everything and just design homes. I’m not kidding.”
