Catherine Agbaje brutally snubbed from Love Island Games after waiting in holding for three weeks
She never even made it into the villa
Awkward. After waiting in holding for a whopping three weeks to appear on Love Island Games as a bombshell, Catherine Agbaje was savagely sent home before she even set foot in the villa.
According to The Sun, Catherine flew out to Fiji and spent three weeks in holding before she was told this week that she wouldn’t be appearing on Love Island Games and was sent home.
A source claimed: “Catherine was excited to take part on The Games, she had been preparing for it mentally and physically and was set to give it her all.
“She spent three weeks in isolation without her phone, family or friends. Catherine was hoping she’d have another chance at love in the villa and had geared herself up for this exciting opportunity.
“But unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be this time round. Catherine flew back to the UK this week after bosses decided that they weren’t putting her through to the final cast.
“Although she was disappointed, Catherine knows that her journey is not over here. If things align and if bosses want her, then she may give it the show another go next year, everything happens for a reason.”
Catherine first appeared on Love Island in 2023 and whilst she was coupled up with Scott van der Sluis, she came back from Casa Amor with Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, but was shortly voted off the show.
She then returned to Love Island a second time around on All Stars and coupled up with Omar Nyame, with the two finishing in fourth place.
However, the pair broke up shortly afterwards with Omar confirming their relationship status, saying: “We both gave it a shot & decided we’re better off as friends. We’re still cool with each other, so please everyone don’t overthink.”
