Javen admits he didn’t pursue Aanu because he assumed she was overweight in Love Is Blind UK pods
And yes, he said that to her face
Javen has once against landed himself in controversial waters after admitting that he didn’t pursue one Love Is Blind UK cast member in the pods because of assumptions about her weight.
Whilst appearing on the Tea Time podcast with Will Njobvu, Javen told Aanu that the reason why he didn’t talk with her more is because he thought she was overweight.
The podcast host asked Javen why he didn’t try anything with Aanu in the Love Is Blind UK pods, with him responding: “Aanu. I thought she was overweight I can’t lie. I’m just being honest.”
Bear in mind this is all taking place whilst Aanu is literally sat next to him. The host interjected, saying that “overweight women are beautiful too” with Javen responding, saying “they are beautiful for a certain other type of men. Everyone has their preferences.”
In the final cut of the show, none of the conversations between Javen and Aanu in the Love Is Blind UK pods were kept in, he explained what made him thought she was overweight.
He admitted that he just felt like she was overweight when he walked out into the lounge after talking to her, and after being pressed for an answer concluded that he thinks her voice made her sound overweight. Yikes.
When he was further pressed about why he thought she was overweight, Javen responded that her voice could have made her sound overweight.
And if that wasn’t enough of a bombshell admission to make whilst on the podcast, Javen also claimed that his ex-fiancé Katisha attempted to get back onto the show after leaving, but wasn’t allowed to by production.
He claimed: “Boy, I’ve got my phone on me I can show you after this but yeah she tried to come back.”
