‘I am sickened’: Real Housewives stars speak out about Charlie Kirk following his death
'Violence is never ever the answer'
Multiple reality TV stars are in mourning following the sudden death of Charlie Kirk. Real Housewives stars are among those speaking out, with some saying they’re “devastated” and “sickened” by the news.
On September 10, 2025, the Turning Point USA founder and conservative activist was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Charlie Kirk was 31 years old.
Gretchen Rossi

Taking to her Instagram Stories following the news of Charlie Kirk’s death, Gretchen Rossi of The Real Housewives of Orange County shared a broken-hearted love heart emoji.
The RHOC alum didn’t post any words, but simply left her mark and paid tribute in her own way with the well-known icon.
Her post comes at the same time Netflix reality star Alex Hall also shared her own heartfelt words about Charlie’s passing online.
Vicki Gunvalson

Another RHOC star who had more to say was Vicki Gunvalson. She paid tribute to Charlie by sharing Instagram posts featuring quotes from him.
Vicki also wrote: “At a loss for words seeing this father, son, husband and friend killed in such a horrific act of violence. Praying for his family. May you rest in peace, Charlie.”
Bethenny Frankel

Bethenny Frankel also took to her Stories with a message, but she had something different to say.
“For people to think that some political or religious affiliation would make me not comment on something is as preposterous as thinking that a jeans ad is the work of Satan,” she began.
Bethenny continued: “I literally did not hear about this news until very recently and I didnt know who this person was so everyone is so sanctimonious in wanting everyone to be so genuine and authentic but also wanting someone to jump on as if I’m the CBS news, as if its my job to know exactly what I’m talking about and my point of view on everything. If I know something you’re gonna hear about it, if I don’t know anything, I’m gonna keep my f***ing mouth shut.”
Meghan King

Another RHOC alum, Meghan King, also paid tribute to Charlie. She posted a lengthy statement to her Instagram Stories.
It read: ” I am devastated for Charlie Kirk, his family, and America. This was the second shooting I heard of today.
“Violence is never ever the answer. I am sickened. This was a son, a father, and someone with such passion for the future of America that he put his life in the line of danger. I can promise you I don’t care enough about politics to do that, and I doubt you do too. Charlie Kirk – despite any political views – is an objectively courageous man. I pray to God that he survives. This was a MAGA event, obviously there’s going to be high tensions – why aren’t we doing more to protect our citizens?”
Meghan continued: “I am also horrified by the active shooter this morning in Austin (that probably is buried in the news somewhere – which is also terrifying), my best friend, her kids, and the whole community for the terror they witnessed. And Austin, your emergency alerts glitched and put people in danger. DO BETTER!!!!!
“Where’s your safe haven? Church, college campuses, elementary schools, not anymore. Is prison safer than being in the American public? At least the bad guys can’t have guns there. JUST SAYIN.”
