Amid a whole lot of RuPaul’s Drag Race drama, Mistress Isabelle Brooks is cutting through all the noise and comes through with a whole new face!? Known for her signature mug and sharp tongue since season 15 of Drag Race, Mistress recently resurfaced with a transformed look that’s sparked plenty of buzz.

This August, Mistress showcased a fresh make up look that made it’s way to Reddit, and seriously got people talking.
Folks first started reacting after she posted a glam new selfie, prompting a thread full of mixed reviews to take off. Some are praising her evolution, while others are scratching their heads, questioning whether it’s a makeup upgrade, a filtered photo moment, or a more permanent tweak.
What’s clear is that Mistress is no stranger to reinvention. She’s recently made headlines for a jaw-dropping 200-pound weight loss, which she’s credited to consistent gym sessions and calorie tracking and not surgery or quick fixes. Now, with her bold new appearance making waves, she’s once again proving she knows how to keep people talking, whether she’s on the Drag Race stage or not.
She’s got everyone baffled
As everyone weighed in on Mistress’ new beat, there’s one view a lot of Reddit users have in common – their not keen on “the tiny thin nose bridge that so many of the girls do.”
One person asked: “Does anyone else not love the tiny thin nose bridge that so many of the girls do?”
More agreed, writing: “I genuinely have never even understand what it’s trying to achieve tbh. it doesn’t reshape your nose. it just sort of draws all the attention to this weird harsh line in the middle of your face so I’m not seeing the pretty eye makeup as much.”
Others also added: “…this kind of nose contour is not for me.”
More and more comments kept on coming with people writing: “It drives me crazy lol,” “Hate it,” “I just think it takes away from the rest of the mug tbh,” and “Yeah, I don’t get it at all. I don’t think it’s cute, either.”
Reddit also had people questioning another aspect of Mistress’s new look – her eyelashes. Lots suggested that the whole look is “off-balance” because of them.
Someone commented: “The lashes being this small is throwing me off really bad.”
“THAT’S WHAT IT WAS, thank you, oh my God… I love the new mug sans the nose contour, but there was something off about it that I couldn’t pinpoint,” added another.
Although Mistress seemingly has everyone perplexed by her new face, it turns out it’s probably not going to be a permanent fixture.
One person commented on thread: “In her latest YT vid she said she was just trying something new and asked for opinions.”
