Here’s the shady reason Rob Rausch and Kordell Beckham turned down Love Island USA spinoff
I'm here for the drama
If you’re feeling like you need another Love Island USA fix following the end of season seven, worry not as the spinoff show Beyond the Villa started last night.
Love Island: Beyond the Villa centres around the cast of season six of the dating show, as it follows them after their time on the series.

However, divisive season six cast member Rob Rausch will not be making an appearance in the spinoff, and he revealed the shady reason why during an Instagram Live with co-star JaNa Craig.
He explained that “the only reason” he decided not to appear in the series is because he doesn’t live in LA, and didn’t want to relocate his whole life for eight weeks.
Rob continued: “Like, what do you want me to do? Just show up and say, ‘Hey, this is my life. I live here for eight weeks.’ It just didn’t make sense, it was unauthentic to me. So I was like, ‘Yeah, I don’t think I can do it.’”

JaNa added: “You know when they told me it was LA, I was like, ‘Just so you know I get everything handled in Vegas.'”
She explained that luckily her team was able to find her work and content to film whilst she was in LA for the spinoff.
JaNa admitted that the “only sh*tty part” about the Love Island: Beyond the Villa series, is that “when they tell you it’s going to be a docuseries following your life that they actually follow your life.. Every day I was like, ‘I can see why Rob said no.’”

As for the reason Love Island USA winner Kordell Beckham won’t be appearing in the spinoff, it’s a lot less shady.
People confirmed in April that he’s been cast in a new scripted series that would clash with the filming of Love Island: Beyond the Villa.
