AJ claps back at claims she was stringing along her co-stars in The Ultimatum: Queer Love
She was accused of telling several women they were her 'number one'
Season two of The Ultimatum: Queer Love has already kicked off, and AJ has already come under fire from both her co-stars and viewers for her behaviour leading up to choosing a trial wife.
During the dinner where each person chose a trial wife, it became clear that AJ had told multiple women that they were her “number one”, with Bridget accusing AJ of stringing her along, as well as Marita and Marie.
However, AJ has clapped back at The Ultimatum: Queer Love accusations in an interview with E! Online, claiming they had “unexpected time constraints” which impacted her experience.

She explained: “People didn’t get a chance to see those deeper conversations that I had with a lot of the women there. We were all single and, at the time, I think that you can get a little lost in that.”
AJ explained that she thought she had seven days to date her fellow co-stars, but she claims that time then got cut to just a few days, forcing her to make “faster decisions.”

She continued: “I wasn’t aware of the time constraints. I was told we’re dating for a week, and that necessarily wasn’t a full week of dating.
“It was like a few days, so you’re having to make faster decisions and not realizing that you are on a thin time constraint.
“Had I known how long we actually would have been dating for. I would have made more decisive and quicker decisions and probably ask more questions that would have led to not like the uncertainty that I probably was having.”

However, despite the last minute choices she had to make, she feels like “at the time” she made the right decision in picking Marie to be her trial wife.
She added: “I think at the time, yeah, I did. That path that I took ultimately led me to the very impactful decision of what is the rest of my life. So, to be honest, yeah, I did make the right decision.”
