For lots of people who watched Love Is Blind, Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton’s split didn’t come as the biggest shock. The two had break-up rumours surrounding them for months before they finally announced they were no longer together this May. But, now a surprising admission of Colleen’s has surfaced from an interview a month before her split regarding “baby fever.”
Colleen Reed’s surprising ‘baby’ admission resurfaces after split
After being married for three years, Colleen and Matt announced their break-up via Instagram.
The two seemingly gave their relationship everything they had and parted ways amicably.
However, there were many attempts along the way the two made to defend their relationship, and Colleen acted like things were headed for a bright future in an interview with US Weekly in April.
Colleen said during the interview that she “had baby fever,” especially after meeting Alexa and Brennon Lemieux’s daughter, Vienna.
She said: “You know what? I actually have a ton of baby fever, and I didn’t think I would, but every time I see a little cute stinking baby…
“I definitely have baby fever, and especially with Vienna. Oh, my gosh, yeah.”
When asked whether Matt felt the same, Colleen said: “With the guy, it’s always a little bit harder. I think he definitely wants a bunch of kids, but he doesn’t really necessarily know what it takes. I would say I would have the most baby fever, for sure.”
Matt and Colleen have gone their separate ways
Despite seemingly attempting to keep up appearances, Colleen and Matt finally shared in a joint post that they were splitting this year.
The couple sparked rumours for months in the lead-up to their split announcement.
Colleen and Matt had people writing in their IG comments to ask a lot of questions about their relationship, but now their reality has come to light.
Since their split post, Colleen has been more vocal on IG than Matt.
She’s been taking to the ‘gram with holiday snaps from Italy, and shared a Story from the beach captioned: “Frolicking.”
