Love Is Blind divorces ranked from ‘still mates’ to ‘messy’ after Colleen and Matt’s split
One couple still has us waiting for tea
Ok, so Love Is Blind stars Matt Bolton and Colleen Reed finally lifted the lid on their relationship this May. After months of speculation, the couple revealed they have now parted ways. They tied the knot in 2022. And, although they seemed happily married, people were keen to point out a whole lot of red flags during their romance. Sadly, it seemed there were a lot of signs all along that they would split. The same can be said for some of the other Love Is Blind couples whose romance ended up in divorce.
4. Love Is Blind Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones’ divorce was messy
Another Love Is Blind season two couple who looked to have a bright future was Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones.
The two stayed together for some months after getting married on the show.
But, ultimately, it ended up that they weren’t meant to be.
Allegations of cheating rocked the couple’s union. Jarrette denied the claims, but Iyanna said it was partially why they broke up.
She said she got wind of infidelity rumours three days before filming After The Altar. Jarrette did speak on the situation, confirming that other women did visit their marital home. But, he stuck to his guns that no cheating occurred in an Instagram Live video, per Buzzfeed.
During the marriage breakdown, Iyanna took to socials in floods of tears.
But, she’s now set to marry someone else, and Jarrette appeared to be in good spirits as a single man per his IG posts.
3. Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl’s messy divorce went on for months
Although a fair few of the Love Is Blind season two stars found connections in the pods, none of them have lasted.
Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl were married for around a year. They tied the knot in 2021, but things didn’t work out.
Their split essentially boiled down to a “mismatch in personality,” and a big one at that.
The Love Is Blind couple basically argued via interviews for months after their breakup.
Speaking to E! News, Danielle said that Nick “wasn’t taking responsibility for the breakdown of the marriage.”
She went as far as to say: “I wanted to make sure that it was noted that it takes two, but unfortunately, with every interview, he is putting all of the blame on me, and this isn’t new. This was something he did the entire relationship”
Nick clapped back at Danielle’s comments in an interview with People.
He said her comments were “hurtful,” and added: “It’s disappointing that Danielle chooses to make false claims and defamatory comments about me and our relationship. It’s especially hurtful because she knows firsthand how difficult being in the public eye is.
“As I have stated before, I implemented a boundary to not engage in communication with Danielle for my own mental health because I did not feel like our communication was trustworthy or yielding positive outcomes.”
Things then went from bad to worse as Danielle described the couple’s divorce as a “bloodbath” because of some of the things Nick had been saying.
Speaking to The Tab, Nick said he “didn’t know how to defend himself against such claims, and was trying to avoid negativity to protect his well-being.”
Nowadays, Nick is an activist, and Danielle is now loved up with someone new. According to Business Insider, the two “reconnected as friends” years after their break-up.
In a 2023 episode of Eyes Wide Open with Nick Thompson, he and Danielle said they chatted for “eight hours” about their experience on Love Is Blind.
2. Love Is Blind’s Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis’ split gets messier

Coming through with a potentially messier divorce than some of the other Love Is Blind stars is Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis.
The Netflix couple formed a romance during season seven. But, in January 2024, Ashley took to social media to say they’d gone their separate ways.
They had a complex relationship during the show, which we all saw during the season seven episodes, and it turned out that things went from questionable to splitsville.
On the show, it was claimed that Tyler “lied” about having children, and there was a whole drama about him being a surrogate father.
Tyler clapped back at the claims at the time, taking to IG to write: “I don’t owe anyone in this world an explanation. But I’ll give you one lol, the conversation was longer than what was shown and a lot of off-camera conversations were had.”
Despite all the family-related drama, the two still got married. But, they announced their divorce after one year. Ashley spoke out on a podcast about the couple’s split, and people are calling for Tyler to do the same in lots of his Instagram post comments.
1. Matt and Colleen take the crown for Love Is Blind messiness

Of all the Love Is Blind divorces, it seems Matt and Colleen come in first place for their split.
The two had people seriously questioning whether they were still together for months until they finally revealed their relationship status.
Matt and Colleen officially announced that their marriage was over this May. They shared how they’re separated and confirmed that they hadn’t been together for some time.
But, according to a lot of Love Is Blind viewers, the couple’s red flags were glaringly obvious from lots of scenes on the show.
From threatening to pack bags and leave the experiment, to the reunion tension people simply seem unable to forget, the drama actually still seems to be brewing for the pair, and people are patiently waiting for someone to spill the tea on a podcast.
Given that the red flags date back to Matt and Colleen’s Love Is Blind episodes, and the fact that they really split up months before and tried to keep things under wraps, these two take the crown for messiness when it comes to divorces so far.
