Here are all the WILDEST career switch-ups Love Is Blind contestants made after the show
One is now part of a seafood shack?!
It turns out that being on Love Is Blind isn’t just a path to finding ‘the one’ for some contestants, it’s a full-on career pivot!
Since the show launched in 2020, stars have gone from unknown singles to entrepreneurs, influencers, authors, life coaches, and even catwalk models.
Whether they made it to the altar or not, these cast members have taken their 15 minutes of fame and run with it, and in some cases, completely turned their lives around.
Here are the wildest Love Is Blind career switch-ups since the pods closed!
Shake Chatterjee
Before becoming known as one of Love Is Blind’s villains, Shake worked full-time as a vet.
However, he’s now totally switched things up and has seemingly gotten involved with multiple businesses since filming.
During an interview with Joey Joy Radio, Shake explained how strangers left negative reviews on the veterinary clinic where he worked and in the end, it meant that he lost his job.
He ended up moving from Chicago to Miami and then opted to start working at another vet clinic.
Shake is also now involved with a restaurant group, per an interview with The Tab.
He’s a part of Shake’s Seafood Shack and Peppi’s Pizza.
And, staying true to his pet-related background, Shake’s sharing the launch of a company called Petster on his Instagram page.
Chelsea Blackwell
Ok, Chelsea. We see you! This Love Is Blind star has literally also turned a lot of questionable online comments into a great thing for herself.
When Chelsea was on Love Is Blind season six, she had her looks compared to Megan Fox.
Now, she’s in a league of her own and said she’s walking Miami Swim Week this year.
Chelsea explained how she’s not just walking in one show, but two.
When the season six star joined the show, she said how she worked as an air hostess, but now it looks like modelling and influencing is her forté.
Shayne Jansen
Another Love Is Blind villain stepping into a new career following his Netflix fame is Shayne.
He might be in the midst of a break-up right now, but Shayne’s got a lot going for him in the career department.
Leaving his past as a real estate broker behind him, the Love Is Blind star is now following his passion as a fitness coach.
He wrote in a caption of one of his Instagram posts: “Felt good being in front of a group of people teaching again. I love online coaching because I can reach much more people and I can provide more value online but something about that in person personal touch will always be special to me.”
Nick Thompson
Another Love Is Blind star to totally transform his career since finding Netflix stardom is Nick.
He’s now a mental health advocate, a podcast host, and the founder of the UCAN Foundation.
When Nick made his foray into fame, he was VP of marketing. But, like Shake, he said he lost his job as a result of going on the show.
These days, he’s raising awareness and has even made a film about his lived experience.
Kelly Chase
Love Is Blind season one star Kelly has leant into self-love like there’s no tomorrow since filming wrapped.
Now, she works as a coach, empowering women to become their best selves.
Kelly had a background in sales before becoming a health coach, per her LinkedIn account.
She’s also a podcast host and, like Chelsea, walked at Miami Swim Week this year! Go Kelly!
David Bettenburg
Love Is Blind season eight’s David was a stand-out reality TV star, for kind of all the wrong reasons.
Nevertheless, he’s opted for a career overhaul since the series ended.
He writes in his Instagram bio that he’s an “entrepreneur.”
Per LinkedIn, David ditched his job as a sales manager and now works as an account executive for a legal firm.
