New blonde girlfriends and business ventures: Where Love Is Blind villain Shake is now

Even now, Shake Chaterjee from Love Is Blind season two definitely holds the title of one of the show’s biggest villains. I bet money that even he himself wouldn’t deny it. He shook the dating experiment to its very core with how he treated Deepti, and some of the shocking comments he made.

But, you might be wondering what he’s been up to since. Is he a changed man? Whilst I can’t promise that, I can promise that his life is looking very different. He’s dating someone new, launching new careers and has definitely kept busy.

Of course, Shake is dating a ‘wonderful’ blonde

No surprise, but Shake and Deepti didn’t work out on Love Is Blind. He was slated on the show for having the classic reality TV man line of saying his type is “petite blondes”. Why oh why do all reality TV men say this? Anyway, after the show he went Insta official with a blonde girl he’d met. They later broke up, but Shake is dating a blonde once more.

Shake told The Tab he’s living in Miami, and now has “a wonderful girlfriend who moved in with me last year.” His girlfriend is called Nicole, and they look really loved up.

You’ll be pleased to know, the shading Deepti seems to be in the past

Previously, Shake had taken every chance to shade Deepti, other cast members, and Love Is Blind in general. But, it seems that’s behind him. The last time he made a comment about her publicly appears to be when it was revealed she’s been making millions as an influencer off the back of Netflix.

“Happy for her, frankly. But, we’re kind of different types of people,” he said (in 2023, growth!) “She is happy to promote certain things, things that come with influencer life that I’d probably have a harder time doing. I am typically unwilling to post about something or promote something unless I’m genuinely invested in that or believe in that.”

He owns a seafood shack?!

Shake has very recently started a new business venture, in the food industry. “I’m partnered in a restaurant group,” Shake explained to The Tab. “And have one named after me!”.

He is a partner of Peppi’s Pizza and Shake’s Seafood Shack, in Miami. He added: “Shake’s Seafood Shack just opened last week, so that’s exciting.” I mean, this really isn’t what I was expecting, but sure!

But Shake does still work as a vet

Not long after Love Is Blind, Shake announced he’d moved to Miami and was “taking a break” from work as a vet. Prior to the show, this had been his full-time job. He’s since told The Tab he’s back doing what he loves.

“I’m working as an urgent care veterinarian,” he said. “Working in a clinic that sees emergencies.”
