These are the worst ever episodes of Drag Race according to IMDB, and it’s controversial
Shocked at which ranked number one
As entertaining and talent-filled as RuPaul’s Drag Race is, the show has apparently got some seriously shocking moments to its name. Over the years, people have been reporting back to IMDb to rate the show, and they didn’t hold back when ranking the worst episodes RuPaul’s Drag Race ever. Even with some seriously famous guest judges and iconic returning queens on the show, some episodes just didn’t hit. Let’s sashay through them…
10. Disco-Mentary (6.0)
Credit: MTV
Anything disco is usually a hit in all realms of life, but when it comes to this RuPaul’s Drag Race 2021 episode, it didn’t hit the mark for people.
The queens apparently “funk it up in a disco-dancing documentary, complete with 70s fashions,” but it’s as far from funky as we can imagine.
A 6/10 rating might even be generous.
9. Social Media: The Unverified Rusical (5.9)
I mean, the play on words is nice, ‘Rusical’, has a nice ring to it, but erm, that’s kind of where the love for this episode starts and ends.
Social Media: The Unverified Rusical saw contestants record lyrics and learn choreography as they performed in a tale on social media.
The episode featured Anne Hathaway as a special guest and Jamal Sims as a guest judge but even the addition of some faces couldn’t get this episode ranking higher.
8. World’s Worst (5.8)

Moving onto World’s Worst. This episode came out a year earlier and got given an IMDb score of a measly 5.8.
The episode name is pretty apt given the ranking rundown, but at the time it was actually referring to a made up gameshow featured on set.
The competing queens had to prove their comedic prowess for a fake TV show, ‘World’s Worst’.
X-Men: Apocalypse star Olivia Munn was a guest judge.
7. Evil Twins (5.7)
If World’s Worst wasn’t out there enough as a concept, wait until you watch this Drag Race episode.
Evil Twins came out in 2018 and saw RuPaul hosting as always.
The top five queens had to present two sides of themselves in a ball, a good twin and an evil twin…
Twenty percent of voters gave this episode just one star out of ten.
6. Snatch Game (5.7)

Another 5.7 ranking among Drag Race’s worst ever episodes, we have Snatch Game.
Drag Race royalty Raven featured in the show, and special guest Dove Cameron appeared in the episode, but it turns out celebrity impersonations aren’t what Drag Race lovers are after!
5. Grande Finale (5.5)
The ratings drop once again as we move onto number five – Grande Finale.
This episode rounded off season 13 and saw Symone crowned the winner.
Kandy Muse was runner-up after the show’s final four had to face off in a lip sync smackdown for $100,000.
Despite the high stakes, it seemed the season 13 finalewasn’t one for the history books.
4. Bring Back My Queens! (5.0)

Coming in at number four is Drag Race season 11 episode, Bring Back My Queens!.
The season featured some icons of the show, including Yvie Oddly, Ra’Jah O’Hara and Brooke Lynn Hytes.
During the episode, the contestants had to makeover returning queens. In a mini challenge they also had to attempt to make the other queens slap them.
It was Nina West who was eliminated at the end of the episode.
3. How’s Your Headliner? (4.9)
Skipping some years to a very recent Drag Race episode, and we’re watching How’s Your Headliner? in 2025.
The season 17 episode saw Suzie Toot sashay away.
With a $5,000 cash prize up for grabs and Tracee Ellis Ross as a guest judge, you’d think this episode had high hopes, but clearly not!
2. Snatch Game (4.7)

As if one Drag Race episode named Snatch Game wasn’t enough, the list adds another more recent one that also didn’t hit.
Snatch Game aired in February 2025 during season 17.
During the episode, the queens were tasked with impersonating celebrities once again.
The comedy game show really doesn’t seem to be a hit with fans. Despite being a flop, the episode still featured Global All Stars winner Alyssa Edwards and actress and comedian Quinta Brunson.
1. RPDR Reunited (4.2)
This 2021 Drag Race episode tops the chart of being the worst of all time.
RPDR Reunited saw the season 13 queens return. But it seems the season has more than one episode that didn’t go down well with fans.
They all spilt the tea on the season’s unforgettable moments, however it seems the episode is something people want to forget.
The queens all returned virtually for the reunion which may have had something to do with why folks weren’t so keen.
The eliminated queens had to lip-sync in an original music video but it simply flopped and got a rating of 4.2/10.
