Omg, here are the most entitled demands the fussy Met Gala attendees made this year
Some are mind-blowingly wild
The Met Gala is a display of opulence, glitz, glamour, you name it! And, naturally, with a huge range of stars appearing on the blue carpet this year, like Kylie Jenner, there are a whole lot of wild demands that come with them. For the A-Listers involved, we’d expect nothing less than some high-end requests, but this year, these famous faces may have just well and truly outdone themselves.
Hourly KFC deliveries
Just when we thought we’d heard it all before, it turns out the celebrity guests attending this year’s Met Gala have actually made some of the most entitled demands going.
According to The Daily Mail, those staying at The Mark Hotel, located in New York’s Upper East Side, had hourly KFC deliveries.
Now, we know it’s finger lickin’ good, but come on, an hourly delivery even if it’s not been eaten?!
Volcanic water only
Apparently, for any guests staying at the prestigious Mark Hotel, it’s volcanic water or nothing.
The staff provides special water all the way from Hawaii which is said to provide some beauty benefits – perfect ahead of a big event like the Met Gala!
Cross-country tea runs
Now, this could be where fussy kinda turns ugly. According to the Mail, some famous face or “brand” as they called it, had The Mark Hotel staff go on a “wild goose chase cross country.”
What was it they were after? A cup of tea, of course!
“They had a brand who only wanted one specific type of tea in their suites. Only one café in San Francisco had the brand of tea, so they had to overnight it to make the brand’s dream come true.”
$100,000 a night penthouse
As with any hotel, there are different levels to the kind of stay you have, and if you’re going to stay at a five-star place for the Met, you may as well live it large.
Apparently, The Mark features the largest hotel penthouse suite in the US,
It sprawls two floors and covers over 10,000 square feet.
The suite’s rooftop terrace overlooks Central Park, and conveniently, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where the Met Gala is held.
There’s no saying who opted for the top tier experience for the 2025 event, but we would if we could, to be fair to them.
Celebrity chef on tap
For those staying at The Mark Hotel, there’s also a celebrity chef named Jean-Georges available at all times.
Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner have said in the past that their outfits have caused them issues in “walking” and “sitting down” comfortably, but in the lead-up to getting ready, at least they can have some five-star snacks on hand.
There’s clearly a lot of preparation that goes into the diet plan around the event for some. Speaking to Vogue while getting ready for the Met Gala 2019, Kim said she already had doughnuts ordered for delivery the next day.
Getting Met Gala ready like never before
Pre-gala, there’s a lot going on for the demanding celebrities. The Met Gala demands don’t stop at food and drinks on tap.
Wellness experiences like IV drips are available, as well as visits to the Frédéric Fekkai hair salon to get their tresses in check.
Kim Kardashian also previously told Vogue she had a long list of beauty treatments going on before the 2019 event.
She explained: “I got about three facials in about a week and a half, I got a spray tan, I got a Korean spa scrub…”
All bases are covered
It looks like literally all bases are covered for the famous faces attending the Met.
But, if they, or a member of their glam squad, has missed a beat, The Mark Hotel reportedly has a relationship with Bergdorf Goodman.
The store “will happily open its doors for guests providing, who gain access to personal shoppers.”
