Here’s the shocking real reason Kim Kardashian declined an invite to space with Blue Origin

Kris Jenner was also invited but turned it down

The Blue Origin flight launched yesterday, but whilst Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian randomly watched the launch, it turns out Kim and Kris were originally invited onto the rocket.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner had been invited to take part in the Blue Origin space launch alongside Katy, Gayle and Lauren, according to the US Sun.


Whilst the two declined the offer, Kris ended up coming to the launch to watch, as she’s close friends with Jeff Bezos and Lauren and wanted to show her support.

As for why Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian declined the Blue Origin offer, a source claimed they decided against it due to “safety concerns” and “scheduling conflicts.”

A source claimed: “Kris and Kim were offered to go on the Blue Origin. Kris absolutely did not want to go for safety concerns and not wanting to put herself in a risky position being a mom and a grandma.

“Kim was more open to it but had scheduling conflicts. Maybe in the future, especially seeing how much of a success this flight was.”


The insider also revealed why Katy Perry decided to go into space, explaining: “A lot of people asked her why she did it since she has a daughter?

“Katy was adamant she had to do it because of her daughter. She wanted to set an example of what a strong, fearless, multifaceted woman with no limits can look like.

“And blasting off into space is quite literally the definition of no limits. She was so excited and really trusted the process. She didn’t seem fearful at all.”

Still, it looks like Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian might take up the offer of Blue Origin in the future, so maybe the next season of The Kardashians will take place in space?!
