Million Dollar Secret’s Cara reveals her brother was murdered
Cara revealed she hates guns because her brother was murdered when he was just 14 years old. She said, “My brother was murdered unexpectedly when he was 14. And it was just something that was so devastating. But my brother was a badass and he would be so p*ssed if I did not do this challenge and I walked away.”
She broke down into tears and continued: “I’m trying to be excited, but it’s hard. And it just, like, is so crazy because I know it was my brother watching down on me. I didn’t share with anyone just because letting a secret out about our personal lives can get you in trouble. But I’m really proud of myself for getting through it.”
The contestant shared a photo of her late brother on Instagram (third photo in the post above), revealing that the show is a “dream come true” and is being done in his honor. She values kinfolk and connections above everything else, and knew that opening up about her brother may have meant she was sharing too much of her personal life.
Cara revealed she’s “never been around guns and hates guns” but “keeps telling herself she’ll be okay.” She came face-to-face with a clay pigeon shooting challenge on Million Dollar Secret episode two, in which the contestants were divided into two teams, before she made a clean shot for her first time being around guns of any kind.
