Omg, Love Is Blind’s Sara finally claps back at Monica’s claims – ‘I didn’t want to respond’
The saga continues
Although Joey Leveille and Monica Danús seemed to be Love Is Blind season eight’s super laid-back couple, their drama with Sara Carton after the show is the saga that won’t stop. The wedding days are done and dusted. The pods? A thing of the past. But, Sara and Monica are seemingly still keeping their spat going – and people are continuing to weigh in on the tea.
Monica, Joey and Sara’s drama continues
After Monica and Joey didn’t work out on Love Is Blind, it seems their ties are still lingering.
The two opted for a ‘no’ at the altar and seemed to go their separate ways. Monica was reportedly moving on with a ‘secret boyfriend’ and Joey, well, he was rumoured to be dating another woman from the show – Sara.
Now, some folks think the whole thing is totally despicable, but others are seeing the outcome of the dating experiment in a different light. Some people think Joey and Sara deserve a shot at love if that’s what they’ve found.
After Joey and Sara initially denied dating, Monica got fuming and said in an interview with Elite Daily that she was “done with the lies” and wanted the couple to admit they’d been together.
The worst part for Monica? She says she felt “betrayed” by Sara, who’d been “consoling” her re her relationship with Joey at the same time she was also seeing him?!
Love Is Blind’s Sara finally addresses claims
It’s taken until now for Sara to take to her socials and fire back at Monica’s claims.
Sharing a post to Instagram, Sara says it’s time for her to say her piece.
She writes: “I didn’t want to respond, but I do need to defend my character.
“What has been said is exaggerated and misleading. The timeline is inaccurate – at no point was I consoling Monica while secretly going behind her back.”
The Love Is Blind star adds: “Our recollections of the conversation we had are very different. I wish Monica the best and hope we can move forward.”
