Virginia reveals WILD account of what happened after she said no to Devin on Love Is Blind
It didn't exactly go down too well
Virginia has revealed her account of what happened between her and Devin after Love Is Blind. They tried to continue chatting after the Netflix show, in which she decided she couldn’t marry him at the altar, but it didn’t go down too well. Devin was all in for Virginia, revealing he wanted to say yes to her on their wedding day, and was clearly heartbroken.
Virginia and Devin ‘spoke for a week’ after Love Is Blind
Virginia claims that Devin answered the phone to her for a week after the wedding, but then randomly stopped. She said on Amber Desiree’s What’s The Reality podcast that she “protected Devin a lot” during the show and “didn’t want to make him feel bad,” but admits he “never reached out again” after that time she said no at the altar.
They hadn’t seen each other until the reunion, but Virginia said it was always her that reached out to him once filming wrapped. “He’s continued to hang out with everybody else and tell them that I ghosted him, so that’s an interesting thing to navigate especially when before it was like, ‘We’re in this together.’ So I haven’t heard from him at all.”
“I think he played the victim a lot at the end and kind of pointed the finger at me, so that’s been hard. I already have my guard up, but I was really vulnerable through the process and opened up a ton. So the way it ended was a little triggering. Reality Shrine has contacted Devin for comment.
‘It’s hard to think he had a fear of losing me’
Virginia believes that Devin feared the opinions of those watching, because of his beliefs. She feels he was “protecting himself from America” but “wasn’t raised to speak about his beliefs,” and felt he “didn’t have a fear of losing her because he ghosted her.” She said it was “all to preserve his own reputation” – which she claims is why he didn’t talk about religion.
She questioned how they “had this emotional connection” but then she found out about his conservative religion. Virginia even said Devin’s mom would text her from time to time with “Christian messages,” adding that Devin revealed his family voted conservatively. “We talked about faith in a general term, I guess understanding later that he didn’t want to talk about it on camera is why we didn’t talk about it more,” she said.
Things haven’t even become civil between them, as they don’t follow each other on Instagram!
