Meghan Markle claps back at podcaster who criticised show by sending her a handwritten note
This is quite iconic actually
Meghan Markle has personally responded to a podcaster who thought her show, With Love, Meghan, would be “inauthentic” by sending her a handwritten note.
The podcaster, Amanda Hirsch, had previously spoken out about her concerns over how With Love, Meghan would be received, saying she was “scared” for the show.

She admitted when the trailer for With Love, Meghan first came out: “I’m genuinely concerned for Meghan. I am not a Meghan hater at all, it feels like a Blake Lively situation where people just piled on this woman.
“I haven’t formed an opinion, I don’t hate her like a lot of the world does. I understand that some people are like ”she’s inauthentic” – I get it.”

She added that the show would make any claims that Meghan is inauthentic look even worse, adding: “From the trailer, it looks like it might be kind of trying to be a Martha Stewart situation that feels a little forced.
“The trailer at least doesn’t seem like she’s going to come across relatable which I feel like she’ll want to try to be. I’m scared for her.”
In response, Meghan sent her a handwritten letter, in which she assured the podcaster she didn’t need to be “scared” over the launch of With Love, Meghan.
She wrote: “Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be. This is the fun part – let’s enjoy it.”
Amanda said she’d “frame” the letter and explained she felt “beyond shook” that Meghan had actually written to her.
She explained: “Obviously framing this. Beyond shook. Beyond spiraling. Did I smell the paper? Yes. Do I want my own monogram? Yes.
Am I absolutely flabbergasted and obsessed? F**k yes. Meghan, you have a fan for life.”
