Dave finally reveals his sister’s unexpected reaction to Love Is Blind that we never got to see

Dave has finally revealed what his sister really thought of everything that happened during season eight of Love Is Blind, and her reaction isn’t exactly what I was expecting.

He told E News! that his sister has indeed watched the season, saying: “She watched how hard that was for Lauren to go through. I think she truly is sympathetic and understanding that [it] was a very real experiment that we went through and the process.”

He added: “They’re starting to understand how serious this whole process is. My family’s been expressing a lot more support and sympathy towards me.

“Initially, when I came to do the show and test this out, they were a little taken back. They were confused. Like, ‘You have a great job, you have a great life, why can you not just date normally?’

“But now that they’ve seen it, they’ve just become even more supportive, seeing how emotional and vulnerable I got.”

Dave has also doubled down on speculation that his sister was against him getting engaged on Love Is Blind, stating: ” It was more about she was trying to protect me from how I might look on a reality TV show.

“She watches a lot of it, and she was just feeling really protective of her younger brother just being misled or making a fool of himself. And that’s what she was really worried about.”

However, Lauren has her own speculations on why ave never introduced her to his sister on Love Is Blind, theorising that he just “wasn’t ready” for that step.

She elaborated: “I think Dave didn’t want me to meet his sister, because I don’t think he was ready for what would come after that.

“That would mean that we’re in it, and we’re going to tackle this together, and his family’s on board and everything would click into place. And I think that that really scared him.”
