Mindy Kaling is addressing THAT backlash Meghan Markle got after their episode of With Love, Meghan aired this March. The two famous faces have been friends for many years. But, it looks like people are determined to insinuate there’s some kind of beef or awkwardness going on between them.

People have basically been accusing Meghan of being rude to her pal, Mindy, on her new show.
During the With Love, Meghan scene, the ladies are enjoying hanging out together.
But, there’s one moment where Meghan corrects Mindy – and folks don’t seem happy about it.
They get talking and making food, before Mindy says: “I don’t think anyone in the world knows Meghan Markle has eaten Jack in the Box and loves it.”
Meghan laughs and replies: “It’s so funny you keep saying Meghan Markle, you know I’m Sussex now?”
Since those words left her mouth, the internet has really done its thing and gone in on her.
One person tweeted: “Mindy was trying to make her relatable but Meghan jumped on her for calling her by her common name.”

Mindy breaks her silence on the backlash
Clearing the air on The View this week, Mindy really shuts down all the fuss and negativity.
“I noticed that whenever I do something, anything, related to Meghan it becomes like big news,” she explained.
Mindy added: “We’re just making sandwiches and then they’ll push in on my face on TikTok and they’ll be like ‘look at this emotion you felt’ and I just didn’t even remember because we shot it like nine months ago.”
Looks like people are really trying to amp up any drama they can when it comes to Megs.
Mindy rounds off with some kind words on her friend: “I loved my time with Meghan… it was great and it’s a really fascinating scene… the reaction.”
She also said she “had a great time” on With Love, Meghan.
