‘Gormless lifestyle filler’: The reviews are in for With Love, Meghan and it’s getting slated
One critic slammed it as 'queasy and exhausting'
With Love, Meghan was released on Netflix earlier this week, and while the gorgeous filming location (which isn’t actually her real house) was stunning, it seems the reviews are less than stellar. And when I say less than stellar, I mean abysmally bad.
So, let’s have a look at the most savage reviews of With Love, Meghan because honestly, these are some of the most scathing I’ve ever read.
The Independent – ‘Queasy and exhausting’

The Independent slated the Netflix show as “queasy and exhausting” and said the show is full of “stilted chatter that seems designed to shoehorn in the odd reminder of her royal-adjacent status.” Yikes.
The Guardian – ‘A lot of whining’

The Guardian wasn’t any easier on Meghan’s new show either, savagely suggesting it “might be the final thing she makes for Netflix.” It’s got to be pretty bad, given how many seasons of some shows Netflix approves…
The critic added that “there was a lot of whining” in the series, adding: “It was basically all they did for the entire series. And, honestly, they were great at it. Harry & Meghan would have made an amazing 00s VH1 reality show, full of bitchy asides to camera and gratuitous sound effects.”
Out of all the reviews of With Love, Meghan, this one liner has to be the most brutal as The Guardian mentioned the show was “gormless lifestyle filler.” What a phrase.
The Times – ‘Desperately upbeat’

The Times gave it a measly two-star review, and whilst it mentioned that Meghan is talented at creative presentation, they slammed the series’ “desperate upbeatness” and criticized it for “presenting her extreme wealth and mind-bogglingly exclusive lifestyle as if it is available to anyone.”
The Telegraph – ‘An exercise in narcissism’
The Telegraph wasn’t exactly positive in its review either, calling the series an “exercise in narcissism,” slamming the concept of the show: “Meghan invites people to her pretend house” and “they tell her how amazing she is. This happens for eight episodes.”
Well, there we have it. I did warn you the reviews for With Love, Meghan really didn’t hold back.
