An old clip of RHOP’s Mia Thornton has resurfaced on the internet and Reddit is going wild. This March, the Real Housewives star made a dramatic exit at the show’s juicy reunion. And, judging by her unearthed reality TV past, it seems she’s no stranger to having her shining moment.
During The Real Housewives of Potomac, Mia and her husband, Gordon Thornton, went through a rough patch. She opted to get back together with her childhood sweetheart, a radio DJ called Inc. But, now Gordon and Mia are back together. Their family is a unit once more and now a clip of the two in their early reality TV days is doing the rounds.
Mia and Gordon’s throwback moment
At 27 years old, Mia Thornton, (then Mia Fields) was living out her “fairytale” marrying Gordon.
A throwback clip of the two has been unearthed and posted to Reddit and people can’t believe their eyes.
Gordon and Mia appear smitten as she explains to cameras she’s “ecstatic.”
The couple’s moment of fame was filmed a whopping 13 years ago.
Now, people have seen all kinds of ups and downs in their marriage. Gordon and Mia appear to be standing the test of time, as does her Real Housewives fame.
She’s not the only Bravo star to have appeared on Say Yes to the Dress. Her RHOP co-star, Ashley Darby, was also once on the show.
It looks like a wedding TV show really is a segway into Real Housewives fame as Porsha Williams’ first marriage to Kordell Stewart aired on WeTV’s Platinum Weddings in 2011.
People don’t seem to be supporting Mia’s foray into fame, however, with some writing on X: “People really make it their life’s purpose to become famous” and “These people spend forever trying to get on reality TV.”

People barely recognise Mia Thornton
Not only are RHOP lovers clocking onto the fact that Mia’s reality TV fame dates back over a decade, but many can’t help but comment on how her looks have changed.
The Bravo star has people taking to X to write: “Mia??? Did she have a head transplant?!?” and more say how “pretty” she looks.
More are convinced if they “zoom in,” they’ll find Jacqueline Blake as Mia’s “bridesmaid” and others join in with the joke: “First of all, where’s Jaqueline lol.”
For some context, Jacqueline and Mia were childhood besties. But, their friendship has taken some hits over the years. The two weren’t speaking during season 7 but later ironed things out and reconciled for season 8.
