Andy Cohen has angrily snapped back at this really awkward Real Housewives spin-off idea
He's not in the mood for jokes
Andy Cohen is saying it how it is, especially when it comes to Real Housewives. Writer Gary Janetti suggested that show bosses run a spin-off on the franchise which purely focuses on former cast members now in prison.
Andy Cohen slams Real Housewives show idea
Andy Cohen has shut down a suggestion to film a Real Housewives In Prison spin-off. We’ve got loads of different areas of the United States involved, but going behind bars would definitely be a step too far.
We’ve even got Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, combining Housewives from different shows, which has seen them bring back original and former cast members from the franchises into one big vacation.
With Jen Shah and Karen Huger sentenced to prison after starring on Real Housewives, it wasn’t the most appropriate time to suggest it, and Andy basically told him: “too soon, Gary,” which got 1.2K likes in less than a day.
Gary promptly replied with: “something to think about…” However, many viewers piped up to agree and say they’d love to see ‘Real Housewives Locked Up’ and compared it to WE tv’s Love After Lockup.
Lisa Rinna piped up to give her thoughts
Lisa Rinna piped up to simply tell Gary off, and commented on his suggestion with: “GARY.” She clearly didn’t approve of any of her fellow former Real Housewives getting screen time, especially in prison.
Other Real Housewives franchise members who have been behind bars are Teresa Giudice and Luann de Lesseps, who have since returned to their respective shows and continue to have their own fandoms supporting them.
